Thomas W. Rosanske, PhD
Director of Business Development

 

Tom joined Acceleration in January, 2010, bringing a wealth of Operations-focused experience in the life sciences to a Business Development role. He received his B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and his M.S. in Analytical Chemistry and PhD in Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has over 30 years of laboratory and management experience in the pharmaceutical and contract laboratory industries, having worked at The Upjohn Company, Marion Laboratories, Marion Merrell Dow, Hoechst Marion Roussel, Eli Lilly, Quintiles, and PPD. He also worked at Beckloff Associates as a consultant and held an Adjunct Professorship at the University of Kansas. Tom has been an active member of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS), having served as Secretary, Vice Chair, and Chair of the APQ Section and as a member of the AAPS Executive Council. He also served on the USP Committee of Revision from 1995 - 2000. Dr. Rosanske has published several peer-reviewed articles in scientific journals and has co-authored a book on Analytical Method Development and Validation for the Pharmaceutical Industry. He also currently serves on the Technical Advisory board for Dissolution Technologies.

Tom and his wife Pat reside in Overland Park, Kansas. They have three children, Matthew, Rebecca, and Rachel. Matthew and Rachel are currently in college and Rebecca is a laboratory analyst for a local company. Tom and Pat enjoy movies, Kansas City BBQ, and spending time with their children.
