Rose Azzaro-Bass
Director of Quality Assurance

Rose joined Acceleration as the Director of Quality Assurance in March of 2004.  She has over 24 years experience in the pharmaceutical and contract testing industries.  Rose obtained a BS degree from the University of Missouri, Columbia, in Medical Technology.  She began her career with Marion Laboratories, Inc. of Kansas City as a chemist and obtained valuable analytical experience prior to moving into Quality Assurance.  She held multiple positions within the same organization as it transitioned from Marion Laboratories to Marion Merrell Dow to Hoechst Marion Roussel, Inc. and finally to Quintiles, Inc.  Prior to joining Acceleration Rose supervised the GMP QA Raw Materials and Finished Product group.

 

Rose is a life long resident of the Kansas City metropolitan area.  She is a member of Accelerations Events Committee for 2012.  She enjoys planning team activities for her group and fellow associates involving volunteering for local charities.  This past year she organized volunteer activities for Harvesters Community Food Network, and the Community Blood Bank.  She and her husband Anthony are local business owners of Diversity Language School, a foreign language preschool.  Rose and Anthony take pleasure in hosting their preschools annual Breakfast with Santa which fills the hearts and tummies of all who attend as well as benefits the Lee’s Summit Social Services food bank.  They also enjoy volunteering for their sons FIRST Robotics Team, the Lee’s Summit North High School Broncobots. 

 

Rose is a dedicate wife and mother of two.  She enjoys entertaining and cooking for her extended family and friends.  She and her family are seasoned travelers and are always dreaming of their next adventure.  They have a great appreciation for diverse languages, foods and cultures.
